3. | Lend a listening ear |
4. | Be empathetic |
5. | Be mindful of your body language |
6. | Don't be afraid of the silence |
7. | Bring no expectations |
Ending the conversation or follow-ups:
1. | Encourage action |
2. | Stay in touch, add a reminder to your calender to reconnect with them |
3. | Encourage them to seek professionals if they are persistently in low mood |
